Ukulele chord melodies are an instrumental version of a song, in which the melody is played over a chord progression. In this course, you will develop the fundamental fingerstyle techniques to play classic songs as chord melodies.
About Brian
Brian has been playing the ukulele for over 20 years, learning from ukulele masters in Hawai'i such as Jake Shimabukuro and Troy Fernandez. He studied jazz and music production at the Berklee College of Music. Brian is a music educator and performer in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Curriculum Preview
This course is structured into 4 key topics: Fingerpicking, Sustain, Embellishments, and Time. We will deep dive into each of these topics as we learn 5 songs: This Land Is Your Land, Love Me Tender, All My Loving, Rainbow Connection, and Hallelujah.
